Dr. Erika grew up in Tyndall, SD, and went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from South Dakota State University. She then moved to Bloomington, MN, to complete her graduate studies at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
Right before her last term of school, Erika married her husband, Skylor, and the two moved back to Brookings, where she completed her final preceptorship before officially joining the Champion Health Team after graduation. The Brookings community made such an impact on Erika and her husband during their time here at school that they were ecstatic about the opportunity to return and give back to the community that helped shape who they are today.
Dr. Erika has a passion for whole family chiropractic care, but pediatrics and pregnancy have always held a special place in her heart. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is certified in the Webster Technique. She also holds Certified Advanced Proficiency in Torque Release Technique (TRT), which has been shown in research to be the most specific, scientific chiropractic technique available today.
Dr. Erika sees her role as more than just providing adjustments — she’s truly a teacher at heart. Her mission is to help every family that walks through the door understand how their body works and give them the practical tools to achieve lasting health, improved function, and the ability to live every day with deliberate intention.
